The old folks centre in Stainforth has been broken into. Stuff stolen from inside then the thieves have broken into the outside garages and nicked five lawn mowers and other gardening equipment.
This is the centre that helped out with the floods in Fishlake and is a vital area for older people in that village, used for meetings and evening classes.
