Will that effect our game with them on 2nd January.
It does give them an advantage, as their fit players get a rest prior to playing us (by then, most of ours will probably be exhausted/injured).

Posh are in 3rd place and must be on a good run to be there.Reverse the process a second, Alan. If it was Rovers that were in lockdown would you say that is a good thing for us? We would lose momentum, miss out on training and planning and have extra games to catch up. And there is no guarantee that in 10 days time they will get the all clear.Rather them than us.
The other thing about the game on 2nd January is Lumley won’t be able to play as emergency loans are not allowed within a transfer window. Therefore he’s got 4 more games with us. So let’s hope we can sort a loan out with QPR or Jones will play in that game with U18 keeper as back up until we loan another keeper.

Just sign him on a months loan then back to a week to week contract until the end of the season as i think Darren will want Jones to being number 1 next season

If we're keeping him, it'll be on a loan until the summer.
