Boring long ball from Gillingham. Hardly a single pass along the ground. More Fatty Evans boring stuff

I hate the Lincoln attitude - they are constantly fouling, screaming at the ref, crying like little boys if it goes against them. They are very good at taking the off the ball runners out too, without any notice from officials.
They really do not need to do that, they are a very good footballing team. Appleton has clearly marshalled them in the dark arts.

How this referee has allowed some of that to go off ill never know, there centre half could have had four yellows with the amount of holding cuddling the Gils forward he does at every challenge.

Lincoln look a different team to the one that played us. The free flowing intense attacking football is just not there tonight, and if the Gill's finishing was better, could at least be level with them.

I can remember  two occasions against us when Lincoln players “accidentally” brought down  James and Simoes as they were making good off the ball r7ns.

Yep. Cheating shithousery of the highest order.

Anyway, that's numberwang now.   Gillingham's defence truly is awful. Can't play simple passes under no pressure into another blue shirt. You just can't do that against sides like Lincoln.

I seem to remember the Lincoln lads getting quite upset with me 10 days or so ago after I lablelled their team as cheats. Long term, prsistent and serial cheats. They are.

Am I the only one to be happy with Lincoln winning, rather Lincoln finish runers up to us than
Hull, Peterborough, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Charlton, Ipswich  :)

Would be quite something next season if us, Hull and Lincoln went up, Sheff Utd went down and Rotherham and Sheff Weds stayed up and Barnsley of course. That'd mean a local derby every third match.

Edit. And Huddersfield.

Add Forest, Derby, Middlesborough and even Preston, Blackburn, Stoke, Birmingham and Coventry plus the eagerness of home fans to get back to matches and you'd be looking at 15 pretty well guaranteed 10-14k home attendances. That would be a real shot in the arm for our finances.

What a season of away days that would be, everything crossed.

I can’t envisage Rotherham,Wednesday,Derby and Forest all staying up though and I think realistically we will probably lose one or two of them, hopefully Derby or Forest if we have to.

Can easily see a scenario of Us and Lincoln being the top two though and the Blades going down.

How can the ref not see that was a deliberate attempt to get the penalty by cheating.

He leg his leg behind the defenders leg deliberately.
It is not surprising they have had so many penalties. It’s about time the refs got wise to their antics.

Ironic Steve Evens complaining about another side's gamesmanship.
