Kyle Knoyle it is,2 year deal,did'nt know much about him until Gaz mentioned him,24 year old,contract run out with Cambridge,in league two team of the season and got promoted with them,60 games under his belt with Swindon.Going on other posters sounds a very good signing.Well done Richie+management involved.

For what it’s worth, I’ve a Chelsea supporting mate who also takes a very keen interest in Cambridge. He is amazed we’ve managed to sign him. He thought that he was a dead cert for a Championship club.

Wanting to re-unite with a former manager is always a good sign. We saw the same thing with Wilks and a Kane and although there is a sort of admiration from afar for Moore by the press, does he have that same sort of pull?

He looks a bigger physical unit than Halliday so will probably be more useful in one v one situations as well.

My Swindon mate at work tells me its a really good and ambitious signing. Said he was their player of the year 3 years ago at 21! He was raw back then and a very good attacking full back!

That’s a real step up in quality at RB for us. Haven’t seen much of him but reading local press and the like here in Cambridgeshire and it’s obvious he is a class act. As others have suggested, the locals were resigned to losing him but to the Championship clubs who have been monitoring him.

Sounds very positive about this lad and good to hear the attraction of RW and DRFC when he may have had other options.

You know though some folk will have problems with his name and he'll be referred to as Knowles!

Appears to be two quality signings so far which are keeping the usual suspects quiet.
