Looks like Ravenhill (Darlington) and Hasani (Matlock) may be heading out also...
But you need a National league North side to want them. Their league doesn’t start while Saturday. By playing for Matlock lower than what we want he’ll be able to train with us and train with them Thursday which will keep him fit. Richie says in his latest interview he wants a loan player at least in the next two days so he can play with the squad. Because of injuries and Covid we may need six which really doesn’t want but the squad is to small at the moment.
Potentially, out of the Sheff Wednesday game are:AJ Greaves (red carded)Matt Smith (Covid test today)Charlie Seaman (close contact with Smith)John Bostock (groin)Tommy Rowe (Achilles)Add to those above our long term 3 of Hiwula, Taylor and Fej8 players out of an already threadbare squad and we’re on game No.3! Fingers are crossed for some positives, because it’s getting ridiculous now. I feel for Richie, I really do.

Surely he needs to be playing National League North at least same a Ravenhill. They are only going to progress by playing against players of a decent standard imo. I trust RW knows what he is doing as he knows more than me about the players but it does seem odd that young players go a long way down the pyramid when they go on loan. These lads are 19 years old so not babies now. Just checked Liam Ravenhill is only 18.

Branden Horton went on loan to a club at the same level but in a different league last season and he learned a lot from it. If Lirak can get regular games in proper football on a saturday afternoon then he is only going to improve and develop and become a better player for it.

It’s a decent standard compared to Sunday league, but it’s not a decent standard compared to the top end of League 1. Not many players that are playing in the NP at 19 years old go on to play L1 or above.
