Christ up a f**king bove.
This is his brief.
"I’ll be working with the UN, the UN Economic Commission for Africa to help African economic recovery from the pandemic and promote sustainable development.”
Economic recovery...
This is the man who was Osborne's special adviser when we f**ked the 2010s through Austerity.
This is the man who peddled the term "Expansionary Fiscal Contraction" as a reason for Austerity, in total contradiction of any understanding of basic economics.
God f**king help Africa.

I see Felixtowe is having major problems finding the capacity to get containers in.
Who have we got there to sort things out? That's right, Chris Grayling...

Hancock says the UN have uncovered a rule which prevents him from acting as UN Envoy to help Africa's economic recovery from COVID.
I wonder what the rule is? Maybe it's a rule that requires the Envoy not to have been responsible for the worst economic recovery in 200 years, and one of the worst COVID managements in the world?
Just a thought.

maybe this
''The announcement of his new role was greeted with support by senior Conservatives including Michael Gove, Sajid Javid and Damian Green.
However, NGOs and activists objected to the appointment, which was announced on the same day that MPs published a report saying thousands of people had died because the government had failed to lock down early enough, while Hancock was health secretary.
Global Justice Now said in a tweet: “Matt Hancock blocked international efforts to allow low- and middle-income countries to produce their own Covid-19 vaccines, leading to millions of global south deaths. The audacity of this man claiming to help African nations and promote sustainable development is sickening.”''
