One is 18 yrs old the other one is not a league 1 goal scorer. He is National league standard.

He was being told to play more direct at Salford, he got sacked because he didn’t change the style of play and why should he? If they wanted to bring in someone who plays more direct then they shouldn’t have appointed him in first place. 

What's Salford got to do with anything

Not saying he should play direct it's about been solid and playing to win games not just trying the same thing that hasn't worked so far. When SOD 1st came in we the football wasn't direct but even if it wasn't easy on the eye. The focus was on been solid because from there the rest of the game can follow. We're trying to run before we can walk.

Wellens doesn't have to change anything but given our results you'd be forgiven for looking for solutions.
