How are people getting a positive out of that? It’s was f**king awful.

Because they're absolutely deluded. Yet they think they're better fans than the rest of us.

Sounds like Galbraith nearly sealed the win at 90+3 shot just wide.

Wouldn’t say he nearly sealed it, tame effort well wide… Dodoo however should have scored, he only had to put any part of his body on the ball and it was going in, some how managed to trap it under himself and scuff it wide… Can tell why he was a free agent at the end of the window

We created better chances today than we have pretty much all season.

The deluded ones Steve are those that can’t stomach a relegation battle. No grip on reality about what RW has to work with regarding the strength of the squad. We are 3 players short of what we need + John, Taylor and Fej. And now Close out also. That’s 6 players missing from having a very decent team for this league.

Seriously if anyone thought we would be doing much better than we are with the available personnel then they are the deluded ones.
We are fire fighting at the present time. Get to half way with 20 points and we will be ok.

There will be 4 teams worse than us by the end of the season, possibly as many as 8

We played the very worst team in the division. And had one serious effort on target.

Sometimes you have to take a big deep breath and face facts. We were utterly f**king awful against another utterly f**king awful side. We've gritted out a point against a side that is the biggest certainty for the drop since Albert Pierrepoint retired.

This. Precisely.

we've heaped all the blame on Bogle. Then given a two year contract to a player who is arguably worse.

Id put a reasonable amount of money on Bogle sticking that away, I dare say any one of the 200+ in the stand would have buried it

You can add Bogle to that list too.

But. A point is a point. We're now only one away point behind the 97/98 lot after 16 games.
So what. What on earth is relevant about that.

We are not adrift are we. To compare this season with 97/98 quite frankly is just looking for negative things to find.
Come on BST your better than that. You know damn well this team are not anything like that 97/98 team.

No. You're right. In terms of away points won, we are NOTHING like the 97/98 side.

We just got our first one so is that not something to be positive about. Obviously not it would seem.

Yes our away form is appalling agree. But it is what we end up with total home and away after 46 games that is important not how many away points we have from 9 away games.

So disappointed with our lack of ambition to try and win that game in the last 15 minutes.

First half - appalling, a continuation of Charlton, no cohesion, no obvious tactics, no confidence. But we went in at 1-1, thanks almost entirely to the fact that Crewe are shocking.

Second half - we actually manage to get on top, by simply being somewhat competent. 60-75 minutes we start to dominate, Crewe are on the ropes just giving us the ball straight back every time, and we create some very decent chances. But we don't score. And then...we just stop trying to win the game. Hand all the momentum we had straight over to Crewe, and by the end we're wasting time to hang onto a point.

The complete lack of desire we showed to try to win that game in the last 15 minutes was so incredibly disappointing. And in my opinion, also pretty unforgivable. You only get to play the worst team in the league twice, and we just wasted one of them...

Seen something on twitter from a neutral fan who was at the game tonight. He said both sides were the worst teams he’s ever seen at league 1 level and both certainties for relegation

Any neutral would have thought that. It was an utterly dreadful game of football, played between two sides who are currently totally out of their depth in this division. And folk are celebrating that we got a point...

No one is relegated after 16 games.

In the 97/98 season, We had 5 points after 16 games. This season we have 12 points after 16 games. 1n the 97/98 season, we had 2 away points after 16 games, just 1 away point more than this season.

We had 14 attempts on goal to their 4,
If that was the other way around you’d be going mad on here about that stat, but funnily enough I’ve not seen it mentioned

8

We are 1 point ahead of Wigan, on the same points as Burton and Shrewsbury and 3 behind Oxfords total, the bottom. four in league one after 16  games last season.
We know  how the season panned out for them. I think there could have been 3 managerial changes across those clubs last season. Robinson  being the only one to retain his job or it may be that Wigan had Richardson throughout the campaign.
It looks bleak right now and it has that familiar relegation feel about it, but I will take what happened with those 4 teams as a crumb of comfort and  with 30 games to go accept we are scrapping for survival and hope to see a turn around. It can be done

It is surely difficult for most of us to understand how those few of you still defend and sustain their faith in Wellens and this most unsuccessful team, and you never give up and rarely acknowledge that there can be alternative opinions. Some might say you are wasting words on here.

However, your unshakable belief in the cause is such that perhaps you should invite yourselves to the training ground and address the players and see if you can instil what you feel into the players and management team where it seems so lacking. Your energy would perhaps engender some spirit, drive, motivation and determination into those who so frustrate the rest of us.

Just back and I agree it was frustrating. Williams is a clown he plays like his laces are tied together.
Anderson had a decent game, I’m beginning to think part of Toms problem is keeping an eye on Williams and trying to anticipate his next mistake.
Smith should have gone off as he was really walking a tightrope. Tommy Rowe was blowing out his arse at least he put some effort in. The game was crying out for an injection of pace in the last twenty minutes but we decided to stick with a point. Dahlberg needs to stop punching and catch the thing.
Overall not a great advert for League One but we are on the board away from home

We are dreadful, I know that. I know what good and bad football teams look like. I’m visualising a path to staying up, and I know it’s possible. Add Close, Taylor, Fej and John to that squad and it will make a big difference. There’s potentially life in us yet.

I’m hoping that too, but I do wonder whether this lot have the mental strength to turn this around. A side like this should not be going down:

Dahlberg

Knoyle
Anderson
John
Rowe

Bostock
Galbraith
Close

Taylor
Fejiri
Hiwula

We don’t have that injection of pace to come on though
