Just imagine
« on November 01, 2021, 02:29:59 pm by Sammy Chung was King »
We go and win the next three ,very winnable games. What would the reaction be on here, would Wellens become the new messiah?.
Chuck in beating Scunny in the cup and I hate to think of the positivity!.

At the minute it looks all doom and gloom, football can turn very quickly. If we got the players who are injured back as well around that time, there is a good chance optimism would be everywhere.

I don’t want to see him gone but if we get out of touch at the bottom that is the time to let go.
I’m hoping, like you, that things pick up. It’s as nice a run of games you could have, to have a chance of that.

I’d back him if we lost every game and were relegated by Xmas,
I’d be at the front of the queue to get a season ticket for next year too…

Nope, he needs to go. Too much ego and not enough talent.

The Fleetwood game will get postponed anyway, won't it? International weekend.

Love the positivity, and hope it works out with the next 3 wins.

However, teams in our position, who go week to week, scraping a win, then getting hammered,  and can't buy a win away, will struggle to achieve 3 on the bounce.

The away form is catastrophic. Not sure why.

We all know what should happen, Keith, but we also know that it won't happen.

We're a club that tolerates failure.

If we lose tomorrow he’ll be gone. No idea who we’ll get in.
Don’t know how that’ll affect the budget as we’ll have to pay the current management team off so in effect we’ll be paying for two lots of management teams, however deep the cull goes.

That is quite ridiculous SS. How can you say that after the last 20 years. We achieved our best period since the 1950’s during that time.
If that was tolerating failure then bring it on.

Sometimes you have to take a step back before you go forwards again.
We are having to completely rebuild our playing squad and it will take more than 3 months and 15 games to do it.

He won't walk, the ego won't let him. he still thinks hes the best manager for this club, regardless of the evidence.

I didn’t realise the Fleetwood game would be moved. Though they wouldn’t have been easy, as we don’t usually do much against them.

Lincoln were not in the three I was talking about, they have a good side for a years now.
Six would be good but again ,I would take four points from the Crewe, Scunny games.

I have RTID tatooed on my pride & joy.

In the ‘right conditions’ it fully reads, ‘RICHIE, THAT’S IT…DEPART’.

Underneath (my pride & joy)I have a ‘picture’ of Neil Sullivan diving full length to tip one past the post at Wembley although granted, the tattooist could only get half of the crowd in.

Be getting the push.
I think we’ll get a point tonight, we could get a win but I think that’s maybe blind optimism, just hope they don’t get many corners or set pieces near the box, it’s like a free hit!

Don’t confuse losing faith in RW with not loving the club

No confusion whatsoever!
I was there at the beginning of this season when it became obvious that Richie was going to have to do a lot more with the budget than was anticipated…
It was also obvious to me that we would struggle up until XMAS, losing many more than winning, so I threw my towel in with Richie and nothing that is and has happened so far is a shock….
I don’t believe any manager with the same restrictions could do any better, And calling for a new manager to pick up the reigns is asking for trouble…..

I said at the beginning of the season that the majority of our fan base do not have the mental strength to see this through…….the bar has been reasonably high for a few seasons, it’s time for a Phoenix type reset…( my opinion only)

So when and if we do get relegated im sure 99% of current season ticket holders will reinvest, and the novelty of a new challenge will appeal to floating fans…

Once you get your head around “ it’s only football”  defeat becomes a little less personal!

I don’t think our side is half as bad as some are saying. We have weaknesses that’s obvious but there is ability within the side. Three wouldn’t be terrible ,but really four is about what we could do with against two fellow strugglers.
