FFS Announce the new manager

I really feel for McSheffrey. This whole episode feels like it’s been poorly managed from a PR perspective. I’m honestly happy if he’s to be given the job. However the way it’s been allowed to drag out, and the timing overall, is such that the announcement will now be completely underwhelming. I’m not sure if that’s harsh on the club, or what they could or should have done differently. But they were in control of when they sacked Wellens and how fast to move the process thereafter, and we now find ourselves in a bit of a toxic place that’s harsh on McSheffrey.

They’ve had their man since last week, its getting stupid now, this was supposed to be a speeded up process this time, it seems to be taking longer

If it’s gm, why was there an announcement that two of the candidates had previous prem experience.
It would just feel like the whole thing has been a charade.
Unless those prem candidates have seen the light and smelt the coffee.

There wasn't an announcement. The Free Press just said it, huge difference.

I’m pretty sure they said they had paperwork to get signed off. As today is another bank holiday, I suspect it will be tomorrow before that can be completed.

Maybe they were waiting for an answer from GM or someone else and they both said NO THANK YOU.

Maybe we have to start all over again with say 3 new interviews from the original applicants.

Well all those scenarios are actually possible because the silence is deafening.

Yesterday I was in the club shop and heard 2 elderly gents saying Bramall is deliberately trying to take the club into the National League.

I almost completely lost it with them. If I had not been with my Daughter and Grandson I might of done.

Were they being serious, you bet they were.
