I really feel for McSheffrey. This whole episode feels like it’s been poorly managed from a PR perspective. I’m honestly happy if he’s to be given the job. However the way it’s been allowed to drag out, and the timing overall, is such that the announcement will now be completely underwhelming. I’m not sure if that’s harsh on the club, or what they could or should have done differently. But they were in control of when they sacked Wellens and how fast to move the process thereafter, and we now find ourselves in a bit of a toxic place that’s harsh on McSheffrey.
I’ve never known a club feck around so much appointing someone. And before anyone comes out to say they do due diligence to get their man etc, it’s not done us too many favours in recent years has it?
If it’s gm, why was there an announcement that two of the candidates had previous prem experience. It would just feel like the whole thing has been a charade. Unless those prem candidates have seen the light and smelt the coffee.
Our board like to think they are something special when it comes to recruiting a new manager with the process they opt for, when really it’s a drawn out affair that does no one any good, takes pi— really
The silence of silent majority speaks a thousand words for me I support this club through thick and thin but not to be told the slightest thing even a snippet speaks loads to me Our club is being starved of oxygen and dying a slow death
Any news?
There appears to be a total media blackout today, even Hoden has not given any teasers
Shit board shit decision making and have no interest in football just the town. Put the club up for sale now!
Surely an announcement before the Morecombe game?
