4-0, so had to guess first letter and managed it on the last go with a choice between 2 possibilities, phew!!

Yes I can imagine it being a bit of a poser if you had the last 4 letters.

Yes I thought that if it took someone a few guesses to get the first 4 letters then there were many many possibilities

Hounslow , did you or do you look at Past Wordle Words as that can save you some guesses

If they have already been "it" before they say they won't come back. I spotted 2 possibilities for my second guess and thought , one might have been the word before and that will steer me to the other

Don't know it you think that's cheating though lol

In the end both were options so I picked one and bingo it came up

Yes my 2 1 in row 4 helped because it showed me where "realistically" that amber letter had to go. Had to be 2nd letter.

Still took a while as I do it systematically !

and 33 last gasp sixes.
Current streak 229.

97% success which stubbornly hasn't changed in ages.
Most of my fails were early on when I didn't take it seriously.

My first go was a fail FAVOR did me no favours.

Since then I've failed another 10 times but not for 219 goes , more than twice my second best of 111

There is no doubt it's learn by experience , but also looking at past words , having list of no vowel words and soon I will look up American spellings after FAVOR which did me no favours at all

Still feels like cheating
