Sounds a great prospect.

May as well throw him in and get him some league experience for next season.

I would imagine it would be for him to get minutes somewhere else higher up the pyramid.

Higher up the pyramid for me please. Maybe a team knocking on the door of the play offs somewhere. Be a unique experience for the lad this early on.

I know that Farsley tried to get him a couple of weeks ago.

He should be learning his trade in a side that is about lower league 2 standards, starting this Saturday against Charlton.

and yours truly was going to post that Farsley Celtic still had an unbelievable 11 games to play

https://www.thefishy.co.uk/leaguetable.php?table=22&season=19

which is about the average for that league some have 12 to play

anyone know why that league started so late in the season

Possibly that could be one reason --- guessing

update

see they won 1-0 at home tonight ... as in kept a clean sheet

didn't miss him

When Farsley refused to pay a big enough percentage of Bobbys wages, they signed a different player on loan and the lad is doing well for them.

Bobby  had a number of good standard clubs after him signing on loan, but he picked up a slight foot injury in a behind closed doors game at Cantley, and he will remain at the club for monitoring of the injury until he is fit enough to play.

Update: Slight foot injury at DRFC -  that's him out for 18 months then.

Canadian Rover, it is stupid comments like yours who knows FA about FA  about the situation that undermines the club and makes me wonder why I put information about anything the supporters might like to know on this forum.
It was an unfortunate accident, it happens in elite sport, and is something he will get over quite quickly but happened when he was lined up for a very good loan furthering his experience and further up the football level. The club are doing a great job of getting him experience and looking after his well being, don't criticise the club and the people in the club when you know FA about the situation.

It was a light hearted  joke about our injury records this season. But don't let that get in the way of your own perceived self importance.

I am not self important at all CR,  in fact I have witnesses that know I  come in way below the dog at home. but that comment is not light hearted, and is a direct criticism of the situation which you know nothing about and I thought supporters would be interested in and makes me wonder why I bother.

If that was a ‘joke’, Canada must be in dire need of some comedians.

To be fair I read the comment as tongue in cheek. Our injuries have been terrible in the first team and didn’t Taylor even come out and have a dig? Some people are too easily offended nowadays.

The information being passed on is great and anymore you get would probably be welcomed by most.

I think it's a much less precious audience that's in dire need of in this case. It was a light-hearted comment that should have been treated as such.

No precious audience at all BB, I can understand the frustration of supporters of the club at this juncture, I sympathise myself, but it was a sly clever dig where non was required when I thought that supporters would be interested in the actual situation at hand and was not needed, and looks like it was posted without thinking the consequences of inviting more criticism of the club when none is warranted.

Thanks Selby. Just to clarify if you are able, was the loan you referred to at Farsley, as hound and CLH seem to think, or a different club?

He didn’t go to Farsley wilts but they would have liked to have signed him on loan.
They couldn’t agree a deal with Rovers however.

Its excellent that clubs are chasing him. Selby indicated that Rovers had a deal lined up - I wondered if that was this one with Farsley or with another club, hence it not being agreed?

Not that it really matters, hopefuly he can get some football in somewhere before the end of the season.

Mate of mine saw Bobby with a protective boot on in Nandos.

That's him done for the season as well.

Must’ve just done it, saw him in the gym last week, looked okay, might’ve been week before not sure
