Not the type of player we should be looking at his age, past his best and no sell on value.I yr contract maybe. Would he do a job at this level for us? Has been a very creative player with a few goals in him. Yes he will be past his peak but ability is permanent. If he is fit and has the right attitude, wants another promotion on his CV then why not? Would he do a job for us at this level? Is that a serious question? A fully fit tomlin would be a great asset with his experience around the team. Dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t when it comes to the players we get, either not experienced enough or over the hill…. I for one would welcome some wise heads with promotion experience around our young team!

He played a total of 142 minutes all season, in 2021/22. On one of those substitute appearances cited above, he was brought on in the 17th minute and then subbed off in the 40th minute.
Maybe GMc and Copps deliberately kept Biggins and Molyneux away from the Armthorpe and Nuneaton games, as some of the tackling in lower league games can be a bit mis-timed and let's say, agricultural. After all, if you had a prize Abereden Angus bull, you wouldn't let it go roaming around in a field full of Rhino's would you!

Don’t think that pitch at Armthorpe was fit for any Angus bulls. There was very little grass on it. The Rhinos would have been distressed as it was too dry.
