There were clearly some very good results and performances under Moore but my abiding memory of his football was painfully predictable passing out from the back, which more often than not left us immediately under pressure or out of possession. Also the fact that we never had a striker who was either fit or league standard.
Didn’t realise that Neil Harris was doing so bad, wasn’t he the one everyone was clamouring for
Harris was apparently the kind of experienced manager that we should have appointed to keep us up. But he took Gillingham down. He tore into his own players (when quite obviously grandstanding) and gained some admiration for talking straight on here. But of course we don’t like it when ours do that and it shows a lack of accountability. Funny game isn’t it.
