Close, Barlow, Seaman, and Olowu, if capable of getting game time need to want to play for their place surely. In fairness all have the ability to be in our team play well and improve it, and with other fringe players at least need to show they want it if fit enough to play some part in the game. A good result would be welcome, a good performance very important, and I am sure the players and the management want both just as much as us the supporters. As I touched on in the OP, a game with a lot of interesting aspects to it, the line up just the first conundrum.
Where is this box to box midfielder we have supposed to have signed.Biggins we were told. Well he is starting to remind me of Bostock.Very static, just sits ion front of the back 4 with Clayton and 90% of his passes go sideways or backwards. We don’t need 2 holding midfielders especially at home. If this is GM”s master tactical plan then it is flawed. Let Biggins off his leash and get him playing further forward. We need midfielders who are going to give Miller the opportunity to do the job we have brought him in to do. Play as we are doing and we will win very few games because we won’t score goals.
Is Kuleya eligible, not sure how youth loans work
Panda, how many times, the grant from the premiership to league1&2 depends on this competition accepting premiership u21s sides or they will each lose a lot of money, and many small clubs would go to the wall. As it stands, two things, it will not revert back because of the grants that depend on the u21s teams taking part, most small clubs would find it difficult to survive without the grants.
