If I was manager I'd continue with the tactic of playing the ball backwards to Mitchell and for him to boot the ball within 20 yards of Hurst to compete in the air. Just because it fails 9,999 times of of 10,000 doesn't mean it won't ever work

Clayton off for Molinux surly we are far to slow with him in that midfield, why play 3 holding midfielders ?

Back, sideways, back, Anderson pump it forward to Miller, shite.
Where's the urgency? Where's the midfield? Got exactly what we deserve so far

I'd actually go with Seaman to be subbed. Play with 4 at the back, 3 in central midfield with 2 wide players supporting Miller.

Not entirely sure why he continues with a FIVE at the back system (it's not a 3)

Looked good first few minutes when we got at them, then retreated into our shell and slowed the game down. Awful

How many times have we said "well that was awful/shocking/dreadful" this season?
I can understand why Fielding is struggling to adapt to this way of playing. Maybe he isn't bad enough cos this lot are shite.

Fell asleep after about 25 mins, that about sums it up after a good start.  Not really sure why we struggle to dictate midfield so much.

Goal been coming for a while. Tranmere far better team.  Why are we so slow and lethargic and show no movement in midfield. This passing about at the back is ridiculous. We will have much of the same for the rest of the season with the team we have.

I said it at the time and I stand by it, Schofield wasn’t the man to take us forward, we are getting worse every time we play

Probably due to the fact Clayton can't run and Close can't tackle for starters

Don't understand why Kyle Knoyle who has been our biggest threat going forward up the right hand side this season has been changed to a more defensive role.

Just so slow with no attacking threat.

Mitchell rolls it out to Anderson, Anderson takes a touch looks up, turns & passes it back to Mitchell.

Absolutely shocking football. We have no idea, what has the current 'manager' implemented, it's no better than the previous one. Abysmal.

Has Biggins touched the ball yet? Or did I miss it?

Williams is part of a poor squad that we unfortunately have if he plays or not.

We need better center midfield players we have since Whiteman left and nothings changed. We bring in what we can afford they are not good enough.

So it goes on is it really all these managers fault. Let’s see who we can afford to sign loan or permanent in January then we will see what level of player we get.

Tough blow that, we'd started the half much better.

you would expect the manager to work out a game plan with the players he has however. Not think he’s Pep managing Barca. This obsession with passing/possession is folly with this squad. If this is the type of football he is serving up, do we want him to have the transfer window?

It doesnt seem to matter who is in charge does it? The same pedestrian unthreatening football delivered week in week out.
