I thought it was Maxwell tbh, clattered after he cleared the ball on the touchline about ten yards from the by line?Was a yellow for me.

Leaving your foot hanging with your studs up when someone is clearing the ball is a cheap shot. You've no chance of getting hurt but it invariably is very painful for the other player. Worst foul of the match and the ref walked away from it.

It was never a red card. The lad didn't directly crash into Maxwell. But it was a definite yellow. He knew what he was doing raising his foot for Maxwell to make contact with on the follow through.There's been a lot of that sort of challenge this season. We aren't doing it and weren't not getting protected by the officials.

As I said it happened right in front of me in the West stone wall red with any other ref
