That’s good to hear. Wood and Ironside apart, I have no knowledge at all of any of the others we have signed.
I see Bailey potentially as another Syers
I was trying to be complimentary CR. Syers made that Saunders team tick in an understated way. An unsung hero who also popped up with the odd goal. Paul Green being another example years before. These sort of players are gold in L1 and L2 and we haven’t had anyone like that for years.
What I like about it, Is the manager knows the qualities he wants for each position, and he has gone out and signed players to fit those roles. He’s brought in young, hungry, ambitious players who have improvement in them. Also experienced players that have been there and done it, at a higher level. He’s recruited players that have been involved with success at their previous clubs, whether that’s been play off winners, cup winners, most have a medal or two in the drawer and will want a few more. There is no guarantee of success, some might not work out. He still has to forge those individuals into a team that is hard to beat.I’m optimistic he will be able to do that. I see no reason if most work out why we can’t be fighting for the title.
