Mitchell would have saved that.

So? Are you seriously attaching any blame to Lawlor for this sh*tshow?

Stop the rot and get ready for Tuesday we need a defensive midfielder but until that happens play Bailey they’re not right back. I know he’s off now but should have started there. Biggins has never been a tackler in midfield Broadbent is not either.
Right this down to experience but must learn from it.

Don't suppose there's any Holywood stars interested in investing?

Still, we're only bottom - only one way to travel from there!

It wouldn’t matter. Darren Moore left and put a curse on us it would seem.

We have to give Grant time, and I did think half a season before we really gel, but I’m worried - this is looking so bad, devoid of anything.

The fact the score is flattering us is scary, these are another team tipped to be lower half.

for the last 2 years I have said Mansfield wouldn't get promoted because of a small squad -- however they have made some very good signings and they will be very serious contenders this time

- so next Tuesday isn't something to look forward to

could say trouble at mill  (but not at Field Mill)  :crying: :crying: :crying:

No Steve, don't be a silly sausage. I only said Mitchell would have saved that. Don't read more into my post than that silly x

60'⏱️ | Another chance for Rovers as Tyler Roberts gets down the right wing and swings in towards the centre but Tommy Rowe's header just can't be steered in.

Where do you play Bailey (the defensive midfielder) after we've signed a defensive midfielder?

I wonder if this will affect the home attendance on Tuesday?

We're certainly back to a feeling of gloom around the club.

This has to be Rovers 'line in the sand' game.

Better that McCann is made fully aware of the teams' deficiencies early on when he has the opportunity to do something about it.

Compare this seasons' start to last season - 14 points in 6 games against well fancied teams which gave management a false impression of the teams ability.

Painful as it is now, esp to the poor souls who have travelled to Newport, today's performance may be a blessing in disguise.

1965-66 - early in the season visit to Newport, Laurie Sheffield up against his old club .... and we lost 0-4

We went on to be champions that season

Just saying

Where are Close and Westbrooke? We could do with technically gifted midfielders.

Totally agree with that, Branton, but what on Earth can GM do when, as has been pointed out, the whole team just can't cope with League 2 in your face type of football.

We're just not physical enough.

Are we?

That was quick wasn’t it!

Would you mind if I excluded myself from the “feeling of gloom”?
