He’ll find his level somewhere.

Mugging, petty theft, brawling in night clubs with his ‘mates’ covering his back, that sort of thing.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up at Bradford or Gillingham if either are still on the hunt for a new gaffer.

A few of my Bradford friends are hoping he doesn't arrive there. Regards Ray

He might be a pr*ck but he’s right about one thing…

Barton then added: 'Obviously, the fat man's going bananas at the referee which is normal for the end of a game. Every referee at this level knows they're going to get the weeble wobbling across the pitch and berating them.

Weeble = Steve Evans

Gareth Ainsworth can't have long left.

Lost last 5 in a row and scored only 2 goals. Last won a game in any competition back on 2 September. Loss percentage this season is 71pc.

The bloke put in temporary charge of Bristol Rovers, Barton’s assistant Andy Mangan got fined over £2000 for betting on football in 2009

Sadly Ainsworth is a bit of a media fave thanks to a bit of love from Stelling et al, might buy him a bit of time.

Well I wasn't even close to being right on that one!

Championship is a cut throat division - not necessarily with regards to Ainsworth but lots of movement already this year.

I never knew that he was a QPR old boy

and couldn't understand why a well known footballing side would appoint an allegedly "dark arts" manager .

I felt sorry for the bloke I discovered on loan at lowly Stevenage (he scored two brilliant goals in about twenty minutes)

our great favourite  Ilias Chair

i "discovered" him on Feb  18th 2019  - It's a hell of a thread for accuracy.

https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=269270.msg1206594#msg1206594

and since then he played in the semi-finals of some competition called "The World Cup" if anyone has ever heard of it - its a slightly higher level than The Sheffield County Cup.

Funny thing is in the very early games this season QPR  scored "worldies" in two different games -  I knew they could not continue scoring worldies   ( Sheff Wednesday were scoring worldies very early last season before they went into their 1-0 "boring"mode.

I thought against my better judgement they might be alright alas No.

he's got plenty of time to listen to his favourite song  "Almost cut my hair"

QPR fan I know was absolutely tearing his hair out about Ainsworth. He said it was an appointment to appease the fans (being an ex-player) but had the total opposite effect. Apparently the bigger ego's in the QPR dressing room couldn't take the guy seriously with his ageing rockstar persona, and his football style didn't work with the squad they had at all.

Interestingly they've poached the Hammarby manager from the Swedish top flight to replace him.

I hope he isn’t an ABBA fan then.

Not really.

Anyway, in the days of the "De Ja Vu" album, hardly anyone did cut their hair, me included.

Now I've none left to cut, but it matches the gargoyle image well.

Curious. The City fans at work were never calling for him to go. They were happy enough with how he was doing and thought the recent performances were better than the results.

Football club owners eh.
Chuffing idiots most of them.

Look at the clubs who have been successful over the years. 80% of them have kept the manager long term.
Well when I say long term what I mean is they haven’t panicked when the team has gone 5/6/7/8 games without a win. They stuck with him.
The Birmingham City’s and Watford’s as just 2 examples will never see success while they change managers more times than I have hot dinners.
No stability no success. Not rocket science is it?

That’s madness.
They need to be careful what they wish for.
