Selby what on earth is that negative nonsense.

If it was the last few seasons I could understand, but whether we win, lose or draw at least we now have a team who fights for every point and is improving every week.

I can remember Brian Cloughs Forest team getting held up on their way to Belle Vue, he managed to get them in their kits whilst on their team bus and straight onto the pitch to start the game.

Close and Ironside not in squad. Wood, Maxwell, Hurst and Senior all start. Roberts on the bench, with Anderson, Nixon and Westbrooke.

Lawlor was meant to be starting but has got injured in the warm up and is now out, for how long unclear. Jones now starts tonight.

Senior and maxwell both playing. Does that push Bailey into midfield? Be good to see what he can do in his "natural" position!

can imagine our 3rd choice goalie is at home (or in the pub) and we have just got on the phone to him to "come on down"

I have just dashed back from my dog walk and tuned in to iFollow hoping not to miss any action.
It’s now gone 7pm and the teams aren’t on the pi5ch yet.
Is it a delayed kick off to let the fans get into the stadium.
I say that because there aren’t many in yet.
Is it just the East Stand that is open tonight?

Seems to be confusing regarding ko time. Fixture is 7.00pm according to BBC yet iFollow says 7.15pm

What, Selby’s assessment of our situation?

Agreed.

Hope no tragedy on M1

Great to see starts for Maxwell, Wood and Hurst, important they get in a performance.
Also some time for Goodman to get his teeth into.

What's the record for the lowest gate at a competitive rovers game?

Is it a behind closed doors game? :) You would think so looking at the empty seats.

I remember a game in 1998 I’m sure there were 700-800 people there. That’s the lowest I can remember

Worries me that Rovers (and probably Burton) lose money on these games, there’s one man and his dog there.

As  far as I can see the Rochdale LDV game attendance of 580 in 1997-98 was the smallest attendance at a first team competitive game in recent years, not including regional cups (e.g. Sheffield & Hallamshire County Club when Rovers were in the Conference) - certainly since we rejoined the league in 1923.

The lowest league attendance was 739 versus Barnet in 1997-98, with 864 versus Chester in the same season not far behind. The have been other Associate Member Cup game attendances less than the 739 lowest league attendance

Hoden has just said the attendance is 1,068 with 77 Burton fans. There is defo not 77 fans in the away section.

7:15 because Burton were delayed on the motorway getting here.
Although physically Burton are a bigger side and probably had more ball we have looked better going forward.
Fal took his goal well after Broadbent won the ball with good pressing. Goodman could have done better with his only chance but again won the ball with good pressing. Defensively look good handling their forwards. Let’s see how we go second half

The Scheduled 7pm kick off doesn’t help, I for one can’t make 7pm by not having time after work to get there, who thinks of these stupid times, it’s not as if they are saving anything, the floodlights still need to be on

Don’t you just love Lge 1 and 2 clubs fannying around at the back. Coach watches Man City and thinks…’Hey we can do that’
Oh no you can’t… nice finish Mo!

Dutch, bearing in mind our fall from grace since McCann was last our manager, your comment about us rejoining the league in 2023 might be a true faux pas (if there is such a thing).
