Accrington are in the midst of an injury crisis with goalkeepers. There two senior keepers are out injured and they have just signed an emergency loan keeper from QPR who will likely start on Saturday.
They have had an emergency loan keeper for the last couple of months, the keeper they had both games against us was on an emergency loan from Norwich.

Who is wearing their Santa hats again tomorrow?

The loan keeper they have had was from Norwich City (Jon McCracken) and he got injured in their last game, against Swindon Town. They have brought in an emergency loan (Joe Walsh) from QPR yesterday.

Joe Walsh would have been good back up for Joni Mitchell at the time when we had James Brown and Adam Clayton and were trying to sign Lou Reed.

Game will probably be off due to a waterlogged pitch  :woohoo: :woohoo:
Why is that good. We want to play don’t we?
Accrington’s recent form is patchy. We are playing with confidence even if all the results haven’t gone our way.
We don’t need another postponement. Already got Walsall H to re arrange. If we go a long way in the BS Motors Cup then we will have quite a few Tues eve games to play.

Sadly if it is on, I think we will lose. We are shite away from and can not beat teams above us. Added to this, we have a shocking record there. I’m sorry to be pessimistic. It’s not like me.

Our record against them is improving.
We are more than due an away league win. No reason whatsoever why we can’t go there and win today.
Will not be easy of course, they are a difficult team to play against on their own ground.

Pitch inspection? Anyone live near enough? Their ground always gets waterlogged easy when it rains

We need a win, and to get one we will have to play as a unit especially in our midfield and at the back,
The midfield need to cover more ground and get stuck in more than they have shown, in that respect Westbrooke will be a big miss so they now have to carry the mantle, and the back line keep play in front of them and not let players behind and stop balls into the box.

Maybe we shouldn’t turn up looking at the BBC and Met office forecasts for Accrington on line.
On the TV it said it was going to dry up by mid day over in Lancs.

Well which forecast is right? They don’t seem to know the difference between the front of their hand to the back never mind give an accurate weather forecast.

Can see us getting there and then having a pitch inspection and calling it off at 2.00pm.

Nothing changes does it. We are as supporters treated with total disdain.

Thanks BR
The drainage must be fantastic on that pitch.
I know it’s much better than a few years ago. Same as Rochdale.

Thanks for the up date.

Their game against Lincoln on Tuesday was postponed two minutes into the game, with the overnight rain topping that up it shouldn't be too difficult a decision to make this morning surely?!
