We could go to a secret location (Little Plough) and have a ceremonial game of Connections

I've got 3 regular lines on Euromillions every draw plus 2 lucky dips ( total desperation) and I will also see my Connection connections "right"

I was a 3 nights a week regular in the LP from the mid 80's to early 00's. Even more when my wife left me in 2002 lol

I’ve been in Plough intermittently for donkeys years on and off. Used to go in most Friday nights about 2002/3 as my drinking pal was ‘going out’ with Clair behind the bar.
We went to a Robin Trower concert at the Leadmill
with Rod (the Landlord) who was well into his rock music.

Our paths must have crossed TT. Rod used to come on our trips to Cheltenham and was a great guy and sadly missed.

Me and Muttley ran the football team in the little Plough.
Our one cup winning trophy was hard to find amongst all of the darts ones.
The older guys used to get a bit mardy when we beat them in the domino handicap!

Didn't try to connect Purple but agree and easier than "normal" game today

Got a half victory today ie I got 2 groups but failed.
BG got. Lost all lives thereafter, barking up many wrong trees.

I barked up wrong tree 3 times trying to get Yellows but should , should have seen the Purple ffs. Much much simpler than yellow

B isn't really accurate is it because Cake may or not be in layers whereas the other 3 deffo are. That said I was nowhere near

Gave up after 2 goes , slung owt in and got what I deserved

Solved quite quickly. No lives lost. The purple was gettable too.

You can have as many guesses as you like . I had 67 before I got this

Getting the purple would have helped and it was a straight forward connection  See if you can get it all and without losing a life

Again Purple imo was the easiest once you see them all

I've not heard of 4 of them ( but doubt that is a Connection)
I know one is an animation
I think I know the star of one of them MLF is DD-L

Yes I dashed in and thought of yesterday and the picture round and realised it wouldn't be a simple as Film Stars or Genres or locations

Completely dismissed my thought above and just guessed to see what the answers were. I had spotted there were some animals in some and fluked Purple

Then I reverted to my original thoughts and just randomly picked ones with 3 words etc so crashed and burned PDQ

Are you in Tenerife with Mrs TT or The Fossils , I suspect the former as numbers falling dramatically in the latter.

Yes with Mrs T and our son.
Granville's wife used to arrange all the Fossil trips so since he passed nobody's bothered.

Was in the right connecting zone for yellow, but can't believe Dumbo is an actual place.
Mistaking Foxy Brown for Jackie Brown didn't help in my quest.

Im not one to make definitive predictions any more. That was after I walked out of Canal Tavern in Thorne with Eurovision on from Brighton. I said lets go , and I dont know who will win but if certainly wont be them.

The 5th act that was a group called Abba singing Waterloo

However I am totally confident in this prediction. I will never reach 456 wins in a row on Connctions as I managed in Wordle.
