Decent player. Right footed, maybe no Hakeeb after all?

He was at Carlisle season just gone but was released. Free transfer.

Bradford fans seem amused by this signing. Assume it didn’t work out well when he was there. Am sure McCann will have him firing.

Has he got a YouTube highlights reel with a Eurobeat soundtrack?

Another suprise signing I'm guessing 1 of the 3 has either turned the contract down or time is up

Carlisle fans saying he has an attitude problem, he won't with McCann in charge that will get focused into positive games

Carlisle were very poor last season and finished rock bottom of League One but this lad was their top scorer.

He left Bradford 4 years ago, aged 22. I trust McCann's judgement over theirs.

Surprised Carlisle released him to be honest. I know he's been struggling with some personal issues, but his release appeared a bit kneejerk in response to their relegation. Would guess he'll be coming with a point to prove. So wish him best of luck. Up The Rovers!

Decent player. Right footed, maybe no Hakeeb after all?

Perhaps or maybe no Molyneux and McCann wants a right footer on right to put in some crosses?

Or maybe Haks and Moly both signing which would give him 2 players for each position as GM always says he wants?

I know little of him but having had a quick search he looks interesting. Decent experience and Goal return in the league anbove. Interested to hear Gaz’ background on him. Hope it doesn’t mean Haks is going elsewhere, but suspect it might.

More likely Molly.

It looks more and more likely that Adelakun and Molyneux are signing elsewhere. I just hope they've got fixed up with League 1 clubs. I'd be bitterly disappointed if they sign for clubs in our league!

Clips show him playing on left. So maybe Haks is off and Gibson and Hurst to compete for left hand side?

He created the most “big chances” in League 2 in the 22/23 season.

According to transfermarkt he played most of last season either on the left wing or central attacking midfield. Before that he was more central.

This makes Haks / Biggins less likely, not Molyneux.

In his interview McCann says he sees him playing anywhere across the front line. Not sure we can read too much into either Adelakun/Moly specifically but my guess is at least one of them will be off.

The one thing you can't seemingly deny based on past experience is McCann's eye for a wide forward, so I'll trust him on this one.

Maybe he’s been given the number 7 shirt. His Twitter name is Gibson7.

Despite Carlisle’s struggles last year he had decent stats for winning the ball back. Which is what McCann looks for as well.

Looks very similar to Moly in terms of style.

That worries me tbh.

Feels like Moly's off.

Yes, I know. It might show that, given a choice, he prefers the number 7 shirt if it’s available. Which it might be.

See reply #16. Moly’s position is his least common position.
