I know you shouldn’t get too excited by highlights but he looks really, really good.
Quote from: GazLaz on May 27, 2024, 06:45:44 pmI think we’ve found one here by the way. Really impressive the more I look. Direct, great dribbler, can win it back, good crosser, 0.4 xG + xA/90 in L1 which is great. Feels like a perfect GM winger. Now, I don't know whether the stats on Transfermarket are accurate, but it says last season he scored 7 goals and 3 assists. On face value, 3 assists for a 'winger' seems quite poor (albeit Carlisle were struggling)I welcome him and trust McCann's judgement but, if he's to help us get promoted, we need a better return than that, don't you think?

His xA was 0.16/ 90 and actually assists 0.11 /90. He was playing in a relegated side as well. Him and Owen Moxon were their best players. His previous two seasons in L2 were also good. Very creative. Assist and key pass master.
Remember we want two players for each position so we've now got two wingers signed up and Sbarra who can play there. Even if the other two sign there's room for all 4.This one on paper as gazlaz says is good value Vs his stats. He's an upgrade on the Barlow, seaman, sotona types for sure.

I was asking a City fan in the gym in Bradford about him this morning. He said that he was a good exciting player. He said that he used to wind away fans up which was funny. It didn’t go down well when he scored for Carlisle against City though and he put his hand to his ear at City fans.
Who cares.? It’s what he does on the pitch that counts..
