Him and Olowu became mates off the field, didn't they? Not sure we can read too much into that.

Sorry, phone playing up. With the eyes emoji. Surely not suggesting that he is coming back?

Might be more likely to go back after Louie Marsh.

Marsh was next to unplayable the last few u21s games in his come back for Sheffield United. On the form he showed I would be surprised if Sheff U let him go out and don't involve him themselves  next season with Ollie Arblaster they have two players that could form a major part in their future plans.

Why not go back in for him he is a good player a youngster who was one of the very few to turn up the first half of the season, without him and Ironside scoring a few goals we would have been rock bottom at Christmas, and quite a few of those goals got us the odd points against the run of play as most teams over ran our midfield and back line.

The stats I’ve seen show 7 appearances, but no league goals.

Most people on here weren’t happy with the way McCann left but they got over it. People make mistakes, they grow up and move on. I’d have Faal back if GM thought he would be useful. He’s a good player.

Wiki says 7 goals in 25 league games for us. 6 in 20 for Walsall.

I’d take him back as a permanent but not a loan as we can do better

2+2=5 here I think. He's clearly mates with Oluwu nothing more.

Why would he come back here? He didn't want to be here 4 months ago so that won't change. His next move should really be league 1. He did really well in two poor performing sides in his first season in pro football.

More chance of us signing Mo Farah... Not hard to infer Grants thoughts about how his loan spell ended here

Yes, probably nothing in it, like 99% of rumours.

But people and circumstances do change. So it’s conceivable he realised being back in the W Mids isn’t that important compared to joining a team who might win stuff.

We moaned when he left because he’s a good player. Plenty have left us who we’ve not been bothered about.

If he came back it would be cover for Ironside I imagine. He doesn’t fit in to how Grant prefers to play and on the occasion we switch to a 3-5-2 it’d be better to have Miller partnering Ironside.

It's a no from me (even if it's just speculation). He's ponderous and clumsy and slows our attacks. He'd be behind Ironside, Miller, Hurst, Moly and Gibson in forward line. It'd be a waste of a loan place and money.

It’s a no from me, stopped trying 3 weeks before he left, that suggests a bad attitude

I really don't think McCann would want him back. As for Faal himself, good player with excellent close control, but, in my opinion his languid style will prevent him playing higher than league 1.

I’m sure we’ve all taken our foot off of the gas for three weeks in our career.

Personally I wouldn't go back there. Did ok while he was here, I have got no issues about him going elsewhere. One of the only ones who gave him a clap in our area on his return.

I think Miller will give as good of a goal return if not better. I also think Max Biammo was a much better player and we didn't offer him a deal. Part of me wondering if they are still in contact with MB or if that's over.

I do think we need another forward but no chance it's Faal IMO, we will either be aiming higher or backing Miller/Goodman to make the squad on a regular basis and contribute.

I liked Biamou. Thought he was something different and had a real touch of class. Wonder what it was - money, fitness, age?

Apparently it was his injuries record.

There was a quote from Max, when he signed his short term deal, that he wasn’t the best ‘trainer’. Imho, that probably had something to do with the injury he got and is why we didn’t offer him something.

Having said that, I liked watching him when he did play and he was ‘different’ to both Ironside and Miller. If it’s not to be Max then it does need to be someone that’s a carbon copy of him. Maybe someone a bit younger?

As someone else suggested maybe we are waiting to see how he goes in pre season, GM said in one of his interviews that Maxs injury would be OK for pre season but didn't say whether that would be with us
