JR's - \"Dare To Dream\" Book - spot the mistakes!
« on March 29, 2010, 10:47:44 pm by Thinwhiteduke »
Here's a couple Ive picked up on already.....

 - According to John, BRIAN Stein scored Dagenhams first against us in the Conference Play Off Final

 - Last season, John states, in his Championship Diary section, that Plymouth were the first side we did the double over - surely that was Derby County??

Cracking read though, but theres a couple of corrections for the second edition.

Can anyone spot anymore?

John undermines his companies own work, when he fondly recalls the story of my penis reduction from a modest 12\" to a more managable 10\", i was actually originally 14\"

I'm about half way through the book, and whilst I haven't spotted any obvious errors yet, it is rather frustrating me... He is telling one story, and then goes completely off on a tangent before coming back to it a few pages later.

Stuff like that is fine if you are speaking in person etc, but i am losing a bit of patience with the book and think it is quite poorly written in parts.

There is also the odd occasion where I get a sense of deja vu as JR proceeds to retell an incident he had already gone through 50-60 pages earlier.

Is there really a need to keep reminding us that he took a shed load of penalties in his back garden in front of the SKY cameras, yet they only broadcast the ones he missed!  ;)

Don't forget to give John your thoughts if you see him on Thursday or Saturday.

If I was going I would do...and would have told him, despite a few minor errors it is a fantastic read, so much so, that, despite only receiving the book on Monday, and being at work, I only have 60 pages to go til the end.
